Currently Scott Morrison has SOLE POWER to send Australia to war. Craig Kelly wants to keep it that way.

Craig Kelly does not believe Parliament should be consulted before Australian troops are sent into armed conflict abroad. “These decisions often need to be made with great urgency and implemented with great urgency for national security reasons” Craig Kelly told Michael West Media. “In circumstances where it’s a war of choice, if Parliament feels the Prime Minister has done something wrong, Parliament can pass a motion to stop further escalation,” he said.
