Nick McKim on war powers reform

When asked if he believed Parliamentary approval should be required before Australian troops are sent into armed conflict abroad Nick McKim, Senator for Tasmania with the Australian Greens, said absolutely. The Australian Greens moved a bill in the lower house in February to require Parliamentary approval before Australian troops are sent to war.
